First day at school

So you just landed on earth and you are asking some questions on what our school system is like.. get it? The questions you asked are What are our schools like? who are the teachers and who are the students?
1. The school is nothing more then a reflection on the community. Much of the funding for the school is made through property taxes. From this schools in more in areas of high taxes deal usually have more money to spend on the students. There are several schools in this country that are founded by the government about 9% of the schools to put a number on it. This does not mean that only 9% of the schools are under funded this only means that 9% reach the qualifications set to be funded by the government. Aside from these we have private schools that are funded by the tuition paid by the students who attend the school.

2. Our students are the children who attend these schools. As off now 4 in 10 students are of color, and this should raise within the next few years. Though that number seems even where these students attend school is what separates them. Many of the urban schools are filled with students of color. At the same time the suburban and private schools are mostly white. We have come to learn though that these numbers are starting to ever slowly even out and in time they should be about the same in each.

3. Our teachers are mostly white by 80% . With that we have 90% female teachers. This shows a huge unbalance in the equality of our teaching force. So ensure a good education many of our teachers are highly skilled in their subject fields. This is only true sadly in most areas, for in many poor areas the teachers are asked to teach subjects that they are not familiar with. Also in private schools these teachers are not asked to have these qualifications.

reaction

first off i will say sorry now for the poor spelling that all will have to see as they read this blog. Now i can begin my response to the peace given to us for class. Much of the information was not new and sadly obvious to anyone who follows anything ever. the school of minorities have less money and that does usually correspond with the amounts of money made by the parents of these students. My question was how are we as teachers and members of the community going to fix that problem? we cant simply expect for these families who need more help to simply decided one day that eating isnt that important and that maybe a education will feed them right now. i cant help but think how we can keep the teachers in these areas to stay and also how to keep the students. it really doesnt help that the leaders are running from the masses. to fix this more then money needs to be put in and this reading shows that when it shows the amount spent on each student as to the area they live in. one of the poorest areas camden spends a great deal on their students. the question is how can we fix this problem and even out the playing field.
